ABOUT VPR

Welcome to Bridgwater Victoria Park Rangers Junior Football Club (BVPR) 

​

The club was formed in 1980 by a few dads to provide training for their children and friends at Victoria Park, hence the name. The club has gone from strength to strength over the years, to now, where we have teams from under 6’s all the way through to under 16 level. 

​

Our aim is to provide football coaching, in a fun, safe environment which will help develop confident young footballers who don’t have to worry about making mistakes whilst learning the game, to enjoy competitive football and have fun with their team mates. The players will be encouraged to express themselves and make decisions, without fear of criticism. Expectations of performance will be modified to meet the capabilities of the children.

BVPR promotes good sportsmanship, respect and also encourages loyalty, team spirit, and values each players contribution to the their individual age group and the club as a whole.

We welcome both positive and negative feedback on all aspects of our club. This is the only way we can improve our club in the future, and we want to make your child(ren)’s time with us enjoyable.

At BVPR we fully endorse the Football Association’s Respect Code of Conduct and we expect all those associated with our Club to follow these guidelines, along with our Coaches & Officials Code of Conduct, to maximise the enjoyment and development of the Children participating in our sport in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
